Technical Service Manager

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Technical Service Manager to join them.

As the Technical Service Manager, you will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the IT infrastructure. This includes network design and implementation, large-scale PC deployment, and managing various systems such as Sun Solaris, AIX, Windows, Clustering, SAN, Cisco, Oracle, Middleware, Security, and backup solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain the company's IT infrastructure
• Manage and lead a team of technical professionals
• Oversee large-scale PC deployment and network design and implementation projects
• Ensure the security and stability of all systems and networks
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and backup solutions
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and address technical needs
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end-users

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification IT experience
• At least 6 years of experience in infrastructure design and implementation
• Previous experience in the Government sector is highly preferred
• Strong practical knowledge of network design and implementation
• Experience with large-scale PC deployment
• Proficiency in managing systems such as Sun Solaris, AIX, Windows, Clustering, SAN, Cisco, Oracle, Middleware, Security, and backup solutions
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Good communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Chinese 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
