Fox Harbr resort is located in a picturesque rural community on the shores of the Northumberland Strait in Cumberland County of Nova Scotia. The resort offers guest accommodation, on-site golf, a full-service Spa, sport shooting, and dining. The landscaper is responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining outdoor spaces, including gardens, lawns, and hardscapes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with landscape constructions

• Weed, prune and trim trees and plants

• Cut grass

• Rake and collect refuse

• Remove litter and garbage

• Cart and spread topsoil and other materials

• Lay sod or seed

• Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees

• Apply fertilizers

• Spray and dust trees, shrubs, lawns and gardens, as directed, to control insects and disease

• Write daily basic progress reports

• Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens

• Maintain lawns and grass along roadsides

• Operate and maintain power mowers, tractors, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters,

• pruning saws, snowblowers and other landscape maintenance equipment

• Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment

Qualifications:

• Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided.

• No formal education is required

Salary: $16.00 / hour
