Gluer Operator

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and adjust feeder, prefold, glue system, final fold, delivery, stacker, and pack station.

  • Ensure consistent machine operation, troubleshooting issues, and making necessary adjustments to optimize production.

  • Monitor production quality, ensuring the finished product meets specifications.

  • Maintain optimum machine speed and detect malfunctions promptly.

  • Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of machinery and the work area

  • Handle and transport raw materials and finished products using industrial trucks or hand trucks.

  • Maintain accurate production and operational data.

  • Train co-workers in machine operation and processes.

  • Follow all safety and environmental procedures to ensure a safe work environment.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating Bobst folder/gluers an asset.

  • Basic computer skills.

  • Self-motivated, able to work independently or within a team.

  • Physically fit


Salary: We offer a range from $26.00 to $32.00 / hour based on qualifications

Bonus: Potential bonus of up to 15% of annual salary, at the discretion of the employer.

Benefits: Health benefits after 6 month probation

Job Type: Full-time permanent, we guarantee a minimum of 32 hours per week

Language: A basic understanding of oral English is required.

Job Location: Richmond Hill, Ontario.
