A well-established diversified machine and fabrication shop located in Napanee, Ontario. Working on custom projects by customer designs usually involves being adaptable to new challenges regularly.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install, align, dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment

• Operate various types of equipment such as scissor lifts, boom lifts, fork trucks, pneumatic equipment, welders

• Identify irregularities and non-conformance to quality standards

• Follow all procedures and responsibilities accurately completing appropriate paperwork

• Ensure duties are performed in a safe manner with focus on accident prevention and that the best use of time is made in your area to accomplish the work scheduled to be performed

• Assist with training of new and existing employees on proper usage of machinery and equipment

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of related work experience in a manufacturing facility/plant environment

• Understanding of machinery and equipment and material tolerances

• Background in heavy industry and construction is an asset.

• Willing to take on 2nd or 3rd level apprentices

• Millwright Certificate of Qualification from an accredited college or university is an asset

Salary: We offer a range from $31-35 per hour based on qualifications

Bonus: Potential bonus of 15% of annual salary at employers discretion.
