Site Foreman

A well-established diversified machine and fabrication shop located in Napanee, Ontario. Working on custom projects by customer designs usually involves being adaptable to new challenges regularly.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise our team of millwrights and industrial mechanics

• Work with the General Manager to resolve any technical concerns

• Monitor employees and perform progressive discipline actions when necessary

• Ensure duties are performed in a safe manner with focus on accident prevention

• Provide accurate pricing for repair & installation work, including labour & amp materials

• Create and conduct site employees annual performance evaluations with

assistance from the General Manager and HR

• Track all site jobs to ensure we are on budget and prepare mitigation plans if

project is tracking over budget

• Complete safety accident reports and conduct accident investigations

• Interpret blueprint drawings that are found in a manufacturing facility including

mechanical, pneumatic, machine component and structural drawings

Qualifications:

• Millwright Certificate of Qualification from an accredited training center, college or university

• Minimum of ten years of related experience in a manufacturing facility/plant environment including at least 3 years experience in a management or supervisory capacity

• Good understanding of welding procedures would be an asset

• Exceptional and effective written and verbal communication skills

Salary: We offer a range from $35-40 per hour based on qualifications

Bonus: Potential bonus of 15% of annual salary at employers discretion

Job Type: Full-time permanent, 40 hours per week
