Material Handler

Coastal Steel Construction Limited is a leading manufacturer, distributor of custom structural steel fabrication. Coastal specializes in active and energetic workplace. We offer a wide range of services including steel fabrication, product sales and installation services.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently load, unload, and move materials using manual labor or mechanical equipment.

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment to move heavy materials.

• Verify materials received.

• Pack and prepare materials for shipment.

• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications: 

• Experience with forklift operation is required.

• At least 2 years experience in the same industry required

• Physically fit and able to frequently lift in excess of 50 pounds.

Salary: $23.92/hour

Job Type:  Full-time permanent, 32 hours per week 

Language: At least intermediate English is required.

Job Location: Thunder Bay, Ontario.
