The client serves a wide variety of industries including the automotive, appliance, building supplies, consumer packaged goods, medical, and pharmaceutical sectors.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is looking for an experienced Wire EDM Programmer and Operator with over 3 years of direct Wire EDM programming and operating experience.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up Wire EDM machines and simple programming.
• Operating machines with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate as a team member with co-workers;
• Schedule jobs to maximize efficiency throughout shift.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 3 years of Wire EDM programming, set up, and operating experience;
• Proficient in Mastercam programming;
• Proficient in interpolating SOLIDS data in Mastercam;
• Sound understanding of GD&T;
• Must have the ability to program simple geometries, setup, and operate wire machines ( Knowledge of Sodick brand is an asset);
• Work with minimal supervision.
