These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the referral program ("Referral Program") offered by Recruitment Room ("we," "us," or "our"). By referring candidates ("Referrals") to job opportunities managed by us or participating in our Referral Program, you ("Referrer") agree to abide by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

1.1. Referrer Eligibility:

• You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to participate in the Referral Program.
• You must not be an employee, contractor, or agent of Recruitment Room or the client associated with the referral.

1.2. Referral Eligibility:

• Referrals must meet the qualifications and requirements of the job role as outlined in the job description.
• Referrals must be new to Recruitment Room, meaning they have not previously applied for or been referred to any position managed by us.

2. Referral Process

2.1. Submission:

• Referrals must be submitted through the designated referral platform or process specified by Recruitment Room (e.g., Huntly).

2.2. Referrer Information:

• You must provide accurate contact details and agree to our use of your information for communication regarding the Referral Program.

2.3. Referral Information:

• You must obtain the consent of the referred candidate before sharing their information with us.

2.4. Duplicate Referrals:

• If a candidate is referred by multiple referrers, only the first eligible referrer will be considered for any applicable reward.

3. Rewards

3.1. Reward Eligibility:

• Rewards are issued only if the referred candidate is successfully hired by our client and remains employed for a defined period (e.g., probationary period), as outlined in the specific terms of the Referral Program.

3.2. Reward Payment:

• Payments will be made in the currency and method specified by Recruitment Room.
• Rewards may be subject to taxes, and you are responsible for any applicable tax obligations.

3.3. Exclusions:

• No rewards will be issued for referrals who:
  • Are already in Recruitment Room’s talent database.
  • Are current employees or contractors of Recruitment Room or the hiring client.
  • Do not meet the hiring client’s requirements or fail background checks.

4. Referrer Obligations

4.1. Ethical Conduct:

• Referrers must not engage in any unethical practices, such as spamming or providing false information.
• Referrers must respect the privacy and consent of referred candidates.

4.2. Confidentiality:

• You must keep all information about job opportunities, the referred candidate, and the hiring process confidential unless explicitly authorized by Recruitment Room.

5. Program Changes and Termination

5.1. Program Modifications:

• Recruitment Room reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Referral Program at any time without notice.

5.2. Termination of Participation:

• Recruitment Room may disqualify any Referrer who violates these Terms or engages in fraudulent or unethical behavior.

6. Limitation of Liability

• Recruitment Room is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from your participation in the Referral Program.
• We do not guarantee that referred candidates will be hired or that rewards will be issued.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Insert Jurisdiction]. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in [Insert Jurisdiction].
