About the job Accountant

Requirements

  • Completed commercial training, ideally with further training as an accountant or comparable
  • Several years of professional experience in accounting, preferably in a medium-sized company
  • Confident use of common accounting software, knowledge of DATEV is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of commercial and tax law as well as accounting according to the German Commercial Code (HGB)
  • Structured and independent way of working
  • Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills


Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Recording and reviewing business transactions in financial accounting
  • Implementation of accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting
  • Processing of payment transactions and monitoring of open items
  • Account reconciliation and clarification of differences
  • Processing of dunning and tracking of outstanding claims
  • Collaboration with external tax consultants and auditors
  • First point of contact (m/f/d) for queries regarding payment processes / invoices
