Senior Accountant

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant who combines expertise in accounting and finance with strong analytical and communication skills. The ideal candidate has significant experience in public accounting or corporate finance, is familiar with U.S. GAAP, and thrives in both independent and team settings.

What does the job involve

• Maintain accurate financial records, including:
  • Bookkeeping, reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals.
• Prepare financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) in compliance with GAAP.
• Assist with external audits and liaise with external counterparts (e.g., government).
• Oversee AP/AR processes, ensuring:
  • Accurate recording and timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
• Prepare tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws, including deferred tax calculations.
• Identify areas for process efficiency improvements and implement best practices in collaboration with other departments.
• Mentor and support junior accounting staff, fostering professional development and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with IFRS (a plus).
• Big4 experience (a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
