Business Operations Manager

We are seeking a Business Operations Manager who is pivotal in transforming innovative ideas into successful business outcomes. Youll assist company leaders in executing strategic initiatives, streamlining processes, improving operational efficiency, driving performance improvements, fostering effective communication, and being a trusted advisor to the Leadership Team. Your role is to act as a strategic advisor, management leader, and thought partner.

What does the job involve

• Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and process improvements; work with cross-functional teams to implement changes that optimize business processes.
• Lead and mentor a team of professionals to ensure effective execution of departmental and company-wide goals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Ensure projects and initiatives are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget; develop and maintain tools to track and provide regular updates to the CEO on project progress.
• Facilitate communication and information flow between the CEO, executive team, and various departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Build dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and present data-driven insights and recommendations to the Leadership Team.
• Assist leaders in addressing complex challenges and solving problems by providing innovative solutions aligned with our objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; an MBA is strongly preferred.
• 7+ years in progressively responsible leadership roles.
• Deep understanding of systems-level operations and organizational design to deliver desired outcomes company-wide.
• Hands-on expertise in navigating African markets is a plus.
