Requirements

  • You have a degree in computer science or comparable training (e.g. IT specialist); ideally you are specialized in Microsoft and have the relevant certifications.
  • Ideally, you have at least 2-3 years of professional experience as an MS system administrator, have taken responsibility and have been involved in the implementation of projects.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, compliance, security and Entra services.
  • You have an analytical, solution-oriented mindset and enjoy being actively involved in projects.
  • You have the ability to work effectively in a team, make contributions and value the contributions of others.
  • You are enthusiastic about developing innovative solutions and have a very good understanding of current topics and trends in the Microsoft Cloud environment.
  • You are able to address and resolve disagreements or differences of opinion constructively.
  • You have good communication skills with very good German skills (C1 or higher). English would also be an advantage


Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Together with our team, you will design and configure our Microsoft 365 tenant. After completing the pilot phase, you will take over the administration of the tenant with 15,000 users.
  • We will use Microsoft 365 A5 extensively. We attach particular importance to the use of services such as MS Purview Information Protection and MS Purview Compliance Manager to ensure the security of our data and communication. In addition, we actively use apps such as Teams for collaboration, SharePoint Online for document management and MS Intune for managing our mobile devices. As an administrator, you benefit from the modern and AI-supported help of MS Copilot for Security to effectively optimize our security strategies. If you have experience with these or similar functions, that would be a great advantage. Our goal is to work with you to exploit the full potential of our Microsoft 365 Suite.
  • You support our local system administrators at the schools by making targeted use of your in-depth specialist knowledge of the products from Microsoft Entra and Microsoft 365.
  • You operate technical interface management within the Microsoft cloud infrastructure.
  • You support complex IT services within the foundation network.
  • You carry out project work in a team, identify optimization potential and develop our environment conceptually.
  • You design innovative collaboration and digitization solutions (e.g. the implementation of the new Microsoft 365 Copilot) and implement them together with our team.
  • You coordinate communication and the use of external service providers and support the elimination of faults (2nd and 3rd level support).
  • You create documentation for a transparent and comprehensible workflow
