Duties:
- Plan and lead engagements
- Overseeing a client list with greater independence
- Mentorship and training of Junior Managers
- Execute a client service plan on complex engagements
- Identifying and mitigating business risks associated with projects
- Interacting closely with the Partners in exceeding our client's expectations
- Ability to multi-task and manage a demanding workload and multiple deadlines
- Supervisory review of files as needed
- Internal support for Jazzit, QAM, training, assurance and other matters
- Assisting and working closely with the internal accounting director
Qualifications:
· 3+ years of experience as an accounting manager in public practice
· Bachelors Degree in Accounting or a related discipline
· Ability to manage multiple clients
· Ability to multi-task and manage a demanding workload and multiple deadlines
· Canadian Professional Accounting Designation (CPA)
· Understanding of Quickbooks, Caseware, Jazzit, and other accounting software
· Advanced communication and leadership skills for the mentorship of junior accounting managers
