IT Engineer

Requirements

*Technical training or studies and first relevant professional experience

*Knowledge and experience in the administration of Linux operating systems

*Experience in the configuration and administration of VMware environments

*Basic knowledge of network technology

*Proactive and solution-oriented way of working

*Very good written and spoken German skills (min. C1)

*Good knowledge of English (min. B2)

Tasks & Responsibilities

Linux operating system administration:

*Installation, configuration and maintenance of Linux servers

*Troubleshooting operating system problems and ensuring system stability system stability

* Implementation of security guidelines and patches

VMware administration:

*Management and maintenance of VMware virtualized environments

* Provision, configuration and optimization of virtual machines

* Monitoring resource utilization and performance optimization

Basic knowledge of network technology:

*Support with network problems and queries

*Basic configuration of network devices and protocols

*Collaboration on network security measures

*Creation of technical documentation:

*Documentation of system configurations, processes and problem solutions solutions

*Maintaining and updating technical manuals

*Incident and problem management:

*Diagnosis and rectification of IT faults and problems
