About the job Social Media Manager
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement
- Create and curate engaging content for multiple social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Analyze and report on the performance of social media campaigns, using metrics to drive improvements
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and tools and incorporate them into campaigns
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to create and execute social media initiatives that align with overall business goals
- Monitor social media conversations and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Develop and manage relationships with influencers and other industry partners
- Perform other social media-related tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a social media manager or similar role
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and how to effectively use them for marketing purposes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to create and curate engaging content (e.g. text, images, and videos)
- Knowledge of social media metrics and the ability to analyze and report on performance
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and fast internet connection with a suitable computer for virtual work
- Knowledge of design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
