We are a small, well-established investment and financial planning practice looking to invest in a committed individual with the desire to train as a financial adviser within a company that has a service driven ethos where charges are low, and portfolio performance is strong.

We seek a numerical individual keen to expand their experience in financial planning support or paraplanning, to train and develop into a financial adviser. Working closely with a small team, servicing an established and loyal client bank, you will be a committed individual who shares our values and passion for financial planning. About the Role

We will support you on your journey to becoming a financial planner, nurturing long-term relationships and guiding our clients. You'll gain valuable experience in all aspects of the financial advice process, including managing investment platforms, portfolio administration, investment reporting and compliance, paraplanning, research, report writing, client support, client meetings, and implementation of advice. We'll help you develop technical and soft skills to enable your success and develop a meaningful career.

Salary & Benefits

Basic salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (Negotiable)

25 days annual leave (increasing to 28 days after 3 years)

Essential

Experience gained from either a financial planning firm, wealth management, or investment company.

Qualified to Level 4 CII, CISI, or LIBF. However, we may consider candidates who are close to achieving this if they have other strong qualities or experience.

Unrestricted right to work in the UK.

Commitment to personal development through training and professional exams

Outstanding written and oral communication with an excellent telephone manner

Ability to interact with clients in a confident, professional manner

Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.

Additional Information

Our role requires easy access to the office because of the training, responsibilities, and colleague liaison.

This role would suit someone with experience of working for a financial adviser/wealth manager in an adviser support, paraplanning, or technical support role, and who has completed a Diploma Level 4 qualification.
