Business Development Executive required for a leading City Wealth Planning firm. Base salary £30,000 + £20,000 bonus potential, hybrid working 1 day per week in London + excellent benefits.

Job Description

As a Business Development Executive, you will work within a Marketing Team to develop opportunities for our sales team, create relationships for our Leadership Team and make sure that the opportunities you develop are accurately tracked and closed.

We are looking for a motivated individual with experience in business development looking to grow their skills and make an impact quickly. Strong relationship skills, organisational ability and great communication by email and phone will make you stand out.

What you can bring:

A broad understanding of what a business development/marketing team does! You know something about LinkedIn, client acquisition processes, and building great relationships with people inside and outside of your organisation.

Your proven lead generation skills and ability to find the right information about people at the right time and get it to the right person before its needed. You love to exceed targets and hate a dropped ball!

Youre great with technology, and its a bonus if you have used a major CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot/Microsoft Dynamics) and are familiar with LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

You know your way around an event and can help our Sales team put their best foot forward around London and the South East, supporting presentations, conference stands and making excellent connections outside the office.

Familiarity with Financial Advice/Wealth Management or other regulated industries combined with an understanding of what a typical wealth management client looks like or the ability to learn quickly!

A great communication style, whether looking after prospects via email/telephone or communicating with other members of our team you are clear, concise and know how to express yourself.

Strong Microsoft Office skills, using Excel, Teams, OneNote and Outlook to manage your working life. You stay organised, know how to prioritise a workload and how to communicate with stakeholders so everyone knows what is being done, what is complete and what is up next! Tasks never get lost; you keep a great to-do list.
