URGENT: Welders, Welder Fabricators and Press Brake Operators

We are recruiting now for several established engineering and steel fabrication companies across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Our clients need skilled people quickly. If you are already in Ireland, we can arrange your trade test straight away.

1. Welders and Welder Fabricators –

Ireland-based (immediate start)

Are you a welder living in Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland? Contact us this weekend. We can arrange an immediate trade test, and successful candidates can start quickly.

This role is open to:

• UK and Irish citizens
• EU nationals living and working in the Republic of Ireland
• Anyone else with the right to work in the UK or Ireland
• Skilled Worker visa holders in Northern Ireland who want to change employer (sponsorship can be arranged with our clients)

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience in MIG/MAG, TIG, MMA and/or flux-cored welding
• Fabrication experience, including reading and working from engineering drawings
• Experience with structural steel, mild steel, stainless steel or aluminium
• Coded or certified welders are an advantage, but not essential
• Ability to pass a practical trade test
• A good attitude to health and safety and quality

2. Welders – Overseas candidates with IELTS for UKVI:

Visa sponsorship is available to suitable welders who ALREADY HOLD an IELTS for UKVI result (or another Home Office-approved English test) at level B1 or above in reading, writing, speaking and listening. Please only apply if you already have your English test result. We cannot progress applications without it.

What we are looking for:

• At least 2–3 years' recent industrial welding experience
• MIG/MAG, TIG, MMA and/or flux-cored welding
• Fabrication from drawings
• Willingness to complete a video interview and a practical trade test
• A valid passport

3. Press Brake Operators

This role is open only to candidates who already have the right to work in the UK or Ireland.

What we are looking for:

• Experience operating CNC press brakes
• Setting up tooling and programmes
• Reading engineering drawings and bending sheet metal accurately to tolerance
• Using measuring equipment to check your own work
• Attention to detail and a safe way of working
