The company is a young, dynamic growing organisation with over 750 employees and active across four continents. They are an international market leader in creating products from specific waste streams. The organisation plays a crucial role in the circular economy and also reduces the climate impact of its operations.


What are you going to do?

In this role, you will help to improve and professionalise their reporting to both internal and external stakeholders. And "the icing on the cake": as a Corporate Controller you will be involved in the development of the Sustainability Reporting (CSRD) in collaboration with the ESG Manager.

You will also be part of the Corporate Control team in Rotterdam, reporting directly to the Group Controller.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Group consolidation and reporting to shareholders & banks;

  • Responsible for the management reporting;

  • Business related projects like, for example PMO type of work;

  • Accounting related projects such as potential implementation of IFRS, PPAs, integration of new M&A companies etc.


Who are you?

  • Proven track record of several years in audit or controlling;

  • Master's degree in business administration or equivalent;

  • Strong interest in sustainability;

  • Enjoy working in a small team of professionals;

  • Excellent communication skills and a sense of humour would be nice;

  • Good command of the English language, written and spoken.


They offer

The salary, with a maximum of E75.000 per year (including holiday allowance), is tailored to your experience. Flexibility is key: choose between a 32- to 40-hour working week and the option to work remotely for 2 days a week.
