ESG/CSRD reporting specialist

For our client we are recruiting a passionate ESG/CSRD Reporting Specialist to join their team in the Amsterdam area. Our client is a global organization in the services sector with a presence in more than 50 countries and employs over 15.000 people.



What are you going to do?

In the finance team, you will be at the forefront of shaping the European and international ESG/CSRD reporting standards.

This role isn't just about numbers and reports; it's about making a positive change. You will play a crucial part in their mission to build a better, more sustainable and responsible business. And, while ESG/CSRD reporting will be your main responsibility, you'll also dive into financial and regulatory reporting topics with their broader reporting team.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Actively engage in the ESG/CSRD working group, ensure they are compliant with CSRD reporting criteria as 2024;
• Identify, interpret, and implement existing and new regulations;
• Contribute to the development and execution of their ESG strategy;
• Establish, define, and document processes and key controls within CSRD Reporting;
• Capture, analyze relevant data to ensure compliance with reporting obligations;
• Participate in the reporting team as needed, support financial reporting efforts when required.

Who are you?

• At least 4 years of finance experience in a multinational or an accountancy firm/ consultancy business;
• Masters degree in Accounting or Finance complemented with experience in financial, managerial, or regulatory reporting is essential;
• Up to date on new financial rules and regulations and have knowledge of the CSRD requirements would be great;
  
• The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders on all levels of the business in a matrix organization.
