Over de baan Interim Corporate Reporting Specialist
Our client is an international player in the maritime sector with their HQ in Breda area, employing approximately 1500 people worldwide and operating a diverse fleet of about 70 ships.
Your assignment as an Interim Corporate Reporting Specialist will be with the Corporate Accounting team, this team is responsible for the administration of vessel-owning companies, consolidation and reporting at the group level, cash management, and various ad-hoc projects, with the current ongoing Due Diligence being the most relevant for this role.
What are you going to do?
Your main focus will be on auditing the 2024 consolidated financial statements. Additionally, you will be involved in similar activities for other projects, including the previously mentioned Due Diligence.
As an Interim Corporate Reporting Specialist, you will not only work closely with the Corporate Accounting team however also with other departments such as Operational Accounting, Controlling, Legal, and Treasury.
Who are you?
We are looking for an experienced interim professional with the following qualifications:
At least 10-15 years of relevant work experience;
Preferably a Big-4 audit background;
Experience in consolidating a larger group and preparing both internal and external financial reporting;
Knowledge of preparing specifications and collecting documentation for internal use and audits;
Experience with MS Dynamics 365, Lucanet, and/or Caseware is a plus;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
Able to tackle complex projects and off course to complete them successfully by effectively communicating and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
