Automation Tester

Job Title: Automation Tester (6-Month Contract)

Location: Bangkok, Thailand (Remote with 2-3 days office presence monthly)

About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced Automation Tester to join our dynamic team on a 6-month contract basis. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks using Golang and Java to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create and maintain test cases with focus on API testing, database validation, and end-to-end scenarios using industry standard frameworks

- Design and develop test automation frameworks using Golang and Java, with emphasis on reusability and scalability

- Debug system issues and test failures through log analysis and systematic troubleshooting approaches

- Work closely with development teams in daily scrums to align on test requirements and coverage metrics

- Prepare weekly test execution reports highlighting critical bugs, test coverage, and automation metrics

- Analyze test results to provide insights on system stability and performance bottlenecks

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

- Minimum 2 years of experience in software testing, with hands-on experience in test automation

- Strong programming skills in Golang and Java

- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit)

- Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git)

- Experience with API testing and REST/SOAP web services

- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with continuous integration tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)

- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Experience with performance testing tools

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

- Previous experience in remote work environments

Work Environment:

- Primarily remote work arrangement (Work from Home)

- 2-3 days of office presence required per month for team meetings and coordination
