Job Title: Project Manager Data Engineer and Analytics
Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead our Data
Engineer and Analytics project management team and drive the successful delivery of projects
across our organization. As the Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing
project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. You will
collaborate closely with stakeholders to align project objectives with business goals and
implement best practices in project management.
Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Team Management:
o Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of project managers, providing guidance and
support to ensure project success.
o Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
within the project management team.
2. Project Planning and Execution:
o Oversee the planning, scheduling, and coordination of multiple projects, ensuring
alignment with strategic priorities and resource allocation.
o Define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with
stakeholders, and develop comprehensive project plans.
3. Risk Management and Problem Solving:
o Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery, and develop
mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
o Resolve conflicts and escalate issues as necessary to ensure timely resolution
and maintain project momentum.
4. Quality Assurance and Monitoring:
o Monitor project progress, track milestones, and deliverables, and ensure
adherence to timelines and budgets.
o Conduct regular project reviews and evaluations to assess project performance
and implement improvements as needed.
5. Stakeholder Communication and Relationship Management:
o Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including
executives, clients, and team members, to ensure clear communication and
alignment on project goals and expectations.
o Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively through regular
meetings, reports, and presentations.
6. Continuous Improvement and Best Practices:
o Promote and implement best practices in project management methodologies,
tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
o Lead initiatives to streamline workflows, optimize resource allocation, and
improve overall project delivery outcomes.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or
related field (Masters degree preferred).
8+ years of experience in project management, with demonstrated success in leading
complex projects and managing teams.
Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and
motivate a diverse team.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and
tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build
positive relationships and influence stakeholders.
