SAP Project Manager - PTT Bangkok

Position Overview

PTT is seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead and oversee complex SAP implementation and enhancement projects. This role will drive strategic SAP initiatives through effective project leadership, stakeholder engagement, and robust project management methodologies.

Work Arrangement

- One-year contract

- Hybrid working model

- Office: PTT Head Office, Bangkok

- Mix of office and remote work as per project requirements

- Regular in-person attendance for team meetings and stakeholder sessions

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Initiation

- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and milestones

- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables

- Establish project governance frameworks and communication protocols

- Create detailed work breakdown structures and resource allocation plans

Project Execution & Monitoring

- Drive SAP implementation activities across multiple modules

- Track project progress, milestones, and deliverables

- Monitor and report on project KPIs and metrics

- Implement project control mechanisms and performance tracking systems

Stakeholder Management

- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across business units

- Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business partners

- Manage vendor and contractor relationships

- Conduct regular stakeholder meetings and progress reviews

Budget & Resource Management

- Develop and manage project budgets

- Allocate resources effectively across project phases

- Monitor and control project costs

- Optimize resource utilization and cost efficiency

Quality Assurance & Risk Management

- Implement quality management frameworks

- Identify and mitigate project risks

- Ensure compliance with PTT standards and industry regulations

- Establish quality control checkpoints and review processes

Team Leadership & Development

- Lead cross-functional project teams

- Mentor and develop team members

- Foster a collaborative work environment

- Provide performance feedback and guidance

Change Management

- Develop change management strategies

- Lead organizational change initiatives

- Facilitate user adoption and training programs

- Manage transition planning and implementation

Technical Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

- **Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP project management**

- **Strong knowledge of SAP modules** including:

- SAP ERP core modules

- Industry-specific SAP solutions

- Integration frameworks

- **Proficiency in SAP implementation methodologies**

- Project management methodologies (PMP certification preferred)

- System integration and testing methodologies

- Change management practices

Required Skills

- Proven experience in all aspects of project lifecycle management

- Strong leadership and team development capabilities

- Excellence in stakeholder engagement and communication

- Advanced risk management and problem-solving abilities

- Expertise in budget and resource optimization

- Experience managing cross-functional teams

- Excellent communication skills in English (Thai language skills are a plus)
