Position Overview
The Head of Factoring Operations will lead and manage all aspects of the organizations factoring services. This senior leadership role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in factoring operations, credit management, and risk assessment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient, compliant, and profitable operations while driving innovation and maintaining high client satisfaction with desired business goals. Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership and Management
- Oversee the end-to-end factoring process, including onboarding, credit risk assessment, and receivables management.
- Lead and mentor a team of professionals across underwriting, operations, and customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
2. Operational Excellence
- Ensure seamless execution of factoring transactions in compliance with regulatory and company policies.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and address inefficiencies or bottlenecks.
- Drive process automation and digital transformation initiatives for improved scalability and accuracy.
3. Risk Management
- Develop and maintain robust credit risk assessment frameworks and policies.
- Monitor the performance of factored portfolios, ensuring timely interventions for delinquent accounts.
- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risks and resolve disputes.
4. Business Growth and Client Relations
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to attract and retain clients.
- Build and nurture relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
- Contribute to the development of competitive product offerings and pricing strategies.
5. Strategic Planning and Reporting
- Work with senior management to align factoring operations with organizational goals.
- Prepare and present reports on operational performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelors degree in finance, business administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience (8+ years) in factoring operations, trade finance, or a related field. Senior Management experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of credit risk, receivables management, and factoring processes.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Expertise in financial analysis, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with process automation and financial technology tools is a plus.
