Responsibilities & Requirements:

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects involving data science, AI, and ML.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, coupled with technical expertise in AI and ML, to effectively coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure successful project outcomes.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Define project milestones, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Lead cross-functional teams comprising data scientists, AI/ML engineers, software developers, and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and other key partners.
  • Communicate project status, progress, and risks to stakeholders.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of AI and ML models and solutions.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of data used in AI/ML projects.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, ML, and data science technologies.
  • Monitor project budgets and ensure optimal allocation of resources.
  • Identify and address any resource constraints or bottlenecks.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • PMP certification.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management.
  • Strong communication, management, and leadership skills.
  • Experience in using project management tools.
  • Understanding of project management approaches, such as Agile and Waterfall.
  • Experience in managing multi-specialized team members across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to define priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including defining project risks and mitigating them.
