They are looking for a skilled Site Civil Engineer (Infrastructure) with a focus on roads, bridges, and related infrastructure projects. The role requires hands-on experience in planning, designing, and overseeing construction projects while addressing on-site challenges and ensuring the delivery of high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Execution: Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring all activities align with project plans and specifications.
  • Planning & Design: Assist in project planning, including reviewing designs and ensuring they meet regulatory and technical standards.
  • Quality Control: Monitor construction progress and implement quality control measures to deliver projects that meet client expectations and industry standards.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve on-site challenges efficiently to minimize disruptions and maintain project timelines.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations and guidelines at all times.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to achieve seamless execution.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of site activities and provide regular updates on progress and issues to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in infrastructure construction projects, with a focus on roads and bridges.
  • Relevant training certificates in infrastructure project management or construction are an advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong technical knowledge in infrastructure construction (roads, bridges, etc.).
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards in infrastructure projects.
