Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive HR/Administrative Secretary to support the HR department and administrative functions within a dynamic construction company. This entry-level position is ideal for a Saudi National with a background in construction, looking to grow within a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support, assisting in the smooth operation of daily HR activities, document management, and office coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the HR team with recruitment processes, including scheduling interviews and maintaining candidate records.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring all HR documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Support the preparation and processing of HR-related documents such as contracts, employee requests, and other correspondence.
  • Organize and manage employee filing systems, both electronic and physical.
  • Assist in onboarding new employees, including preparing materials, conducting orientation sessions, and coordinating with other departments.
  • Handle office administration duties, including managing office supplies, scheduling meetings, and coordinating events.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies and administrative procedures.
  • Maintain office calendars, track deadlines, and manage appointments.
  • Assist with payroll and benefits processing, ensuring timely and accurate submission of information.
  • Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the office, ensuring compliance with company policies and construction industry regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Saudi National with a valid national ID.
  • Diploma or equivalent in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field (a background in construction is a plus).
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably within the construction or related industry.
  • Basic understanding of HR processes and office administration.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in HR software and systems.
  • Familiarity with Saudi labor laws and regulations in the construction sector.
