Role Overview:

As the Commercial Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing the commercial strategy. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships, and ensuring a consistent customer experience across all markets. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the travel industry and a proven ability to lead high-performing commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Commercial Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy to drive revenue growth across all markets.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to align commercial goals with the overall business objectives.
  • Identify and prioritize new market opportunities, customer segments, and revenue streams.

2. Partnership Development & Management:

  • Lead the development of strategic partnerships with airlines, hotels, travel agencies, and other key stakeholders.
  • Negotiate and secure favorable commercial terms with partners to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Monitor and manage partner performance, ensuring adherence to contracts and service-level agreements.

3. Sales & Revenue Management

  • Oversee the sales function, ensuring effective account management, customer acquisition, and retention strategies.
  • Implement revenue management strategies to optimize pricing and inventory.
  • Analyze market trends and customer insights to refine sales tactics and improve conversion rates.

4. Marketing & Brand Management:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that support commercial objectives.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all customer touchpoints.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives to inform future campaigns.

5. Commercial Operations & Customer Experience:

  • Lead efforts to enhance the customer experience, ensuring a seamless journey across all stages of travel planning.
  • Streamline commercial operations, optimizing processes and workflows to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Monitor key commercial KPIs and provide regular performance updates to the executive team.

6. Team Leadership & Development

  • Build and lead a high-performing commercial team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities to team members.
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration to support the broader goals of the organization.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Min of 8+ years of progressive commercial experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Experience in Hospitality or Airline or Tourism industry is a must
  • Experience with OTA is also a must
  • Proven expertise in commercial strategy, sales, and partnership development.
  • Strong understanding of the travel and technology sectors.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to influence and drive change.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Excellent command of English
