Our client is an Online Travel Agency (OTA) catering to both B2B and B2C markets. With a strong foothold in the travel-tech industry, they provide innovative solutions to their customers, enhancing travel experiences globally.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee all departments within our clients organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing OTAs or travel-tech companies. This role requires a dynamic leader who can drive strategic initiatives, improve operational efficiencies, and ensure the overall growth and success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Management: Provide strategic leadership and direction to all departments including Finance, Operations, Commercial, HR, and IT.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and implement processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Financial Management: Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and reporting. Ensure financial targets are met and identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
  • Business Development: Drive business growth by identifying new market opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and enhancing customer relationships.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of around 30 professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Customer Focus: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and innovative travel solutions.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure the company complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including investors, partners, and customers.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience in a senior management role within an OTA or travel-tech company is a must.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
