• Working Days & Hours: 6 working days/week

Job Summary: The Head Cashier will oversee all cashier activities across multiple outlets in the Palms Jumeirah, Dubai area. This role requires an individual who can effectively ensure smooth financial operations at each site.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily cash transactions and ensure accuracy in all transactions.
• Train and supervise cashier staff across various outlets.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with financial procedures and audit requirements.
• Coordinate with the finance department to resolve discrepancies.
• Implement improvements to enhance cashier efficiency.
• Supervise other cashiers and ensure proper use of cash registers
• Ensure store policy and procedure are followed and executed by all cashiers
• Handle customer complaints and ensure staff adheres to customer service standards
• Inspect cash registers at the end of each shift to ensure all transactions are accounted for
• Audit cash registers at the end of each shift to ensure all funds are correct
• Operate the cash register and prepare the daily deposit

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in business administration or Accounting or any related field
• 2+ years of experience as a head cashier or in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage teams.
• Ability to multitask and handle fast-paced environments.
• Able to operate various types of technology (cash registers, computers, etc.)
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Able to multitask and manage time efficiently
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
