Quantity Surveyor Engineer

About the Job:

Our client is one of Nigeria's leading private construction groups, with a rich history of delivering high-quality construction projects across the country. They are looking for a qualified Quantity Surveyor ( QS) Engineer. The ideal candidate should have experience of Five years and above in the industry e.g. Cost estimation and strong background in both infrastructure and building.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed estimations and quantity take-offs for roads and transportation projects and Buildings project 

Prepare cost plans and budget estimates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards

Collaborate with project teams to provide technical expertise in design, planning, and execution phases

Monitor project progress and update cost estimates as needed throughout the project lifecycle

 Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university

Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimation and/or technical roles within roads, transportation projects and Building projects

Knowledge of estimation processes, including quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and material sourcing

Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Excel)

Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks efficiently.
