Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition team. This role is critical in supporting our companys staffing needs by sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent for a variety of positions within our organization, with a primary focus on roles supporting government contracts. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and ensure that candidates meet all required qualifications, including security clearances and government compliance standards. Some of the job requirements include:

  • Source, identify, and engage potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.
  • Screen resumes and applications to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Conduct interviews, both in person and virtually, to evaluate candidates' skills, work history, and potential for success.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to understand position requirements and desired candidate profiles for government contract roles.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and security clearance requirements in the talent acquisition process.
  • Manage the full talent acquisition life cycle, from job postings to offer negotiation, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
  • Maintain and update applicant tracking systems (ATS) to ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key talent pools and networks relevant to government contracting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand long-term staffing needs and build a pipeline of qualified candidates for future openings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in human resources, business administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
  • 3-5 years of talent acquisition experience, preferably in government contracting or federal staffing.
  • Strong understanding of government contracting processes and compliance, including security clearance requirements.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruiting tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience recruiting for technical and/or cleared positions is a plus.
