Operator/ Manufacturing Technicians (Ang Mo Kio area)

Job Description & Requirements

We are currently assisting our client to help source and attract talents in the market.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assemble cable/wire harness products and perform soldering work
• Prepare cables (cut, strip, crimp, shield, measure) per specifications
• Conduct visual self-inspection of completed assemblies
• Test assemblies using standard electronic test equipment in accordance with specifications
• Read and interpret technical engineering drawings
• Follow safety and 5S housekeeping standards
• Commit to a structured on-the-job training program; strong performers may be given opportunities for overseas advanced training
• Upon completion of training, take on soldering-focused production work and other process-related tasks as required
• Liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders/vendors as part of daily operations — proficiency in spoken and written Chinese required for effective communication

Job Requirements

• ITE qualification in Engineering (Electronics, Mechatronics, or related) or equivalent
• Prior experience in cable/harness assembly preferred; familiarity with test equipment is advantageous
• Experience in soldering electronic products preferred
• Proficient in spoken and written Chinese/Mandarin, required to liaise effectively with Chinese-speaking stakeholders
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, with a positive attitude
• Strong team player
• Willing to work overtime and travel for training when required
