About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Pharmacist currently based in Australia to join a well-established community or regional pharmacy. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering quality pharmaceutical care, maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements, and ensuring excellent customer service within a trusted local environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately dispense and check prescriptions in line with PBS and legal standards.
  • Provide professional health advice and medication counselling to customers.
  • Manage stock control, ordering, and inventory systems.
  • Support vaccination programs and medication reviews where applicable.
  • Maintain pharmacy records and QCPP compliance.
  • Lead or support pharmacy staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Requirements

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Pharmacist.
  • Minimum 2 years post-registration experience in a community or hospital pharmacy.
  • Strong clinical knowledge, attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and people management skills.
  • Must be currently residing in Australia with full work rights (no sponsorship available).

Desirable

  • Previous experience in rural or regional settings.
  • Immunisation certification or HMR accreditation.
  • Proficiency in Fred Dispense or similar pharmacy software.
