Salary:  $95,000.00 - $100,000.00

About the Role

RecruitUp is assisting our client in sourcing a skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong leadership, planning, and project management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and coordinate construction projects.
  • Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Manage and liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Oversee site operations, monitor progress, and resolve project-related issues.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement quality control measures.
  • Lead and coordinate construction teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Prepare project reports and maintain documentation.

Skills & Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or Safety Management (preferred).

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Proven track record in managing commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in contract administration, cost estimation, and procurement.

Key Competencies:

  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera).
  • Knowledge of Australian workplace health & safety (WHS) regulations.
