About Us:

Capogreco Farms is a well-established and growing agricultural business specialising in the cultivation and production of high-quality fruit. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fruit Grower to join our team and oversee all aspects of orchard management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and manage all fruit-growing activities, including planting, pruning, irrigation, and harvesting.
• Monitor crop health, identify pests and diseases, and implement effective pest and disease control measures.
• Manage soil health, fertilization, and irrigation schedules to optimize yields.
• Oversee farm equipment operation, maintenance, and safety compliance.
• Supervise and train farm workers, ensuring efficient and productive farm operations.
• Maintain accurate records of production, expenses, and farm activities.
• Implement sustainable farming practices to improve productivity and environmental outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, health, and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Experience in fruit growing, orchard management, or a related agricultural field.
• Strong knowledge of horticultural techniques, pest and disease control, and irrigation systems.
• Ability to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• Experience managing and supervising farm workers.
• Good understanding of farm financials, planning, and budgeting.
• Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in varying conditions.
• A relevant qualification in horticulture, agriculture, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
• A valid drivers license.
