Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Agricultural Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with farm operations, including crop management, irrigation, pest control, and general farm maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal water usage.
• Assist in crop planting, fertilisation, and harvesting.
• Diagnose and manage pest and disease issues.
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• Conduct soil and crop health assessments.
• Implement best practices for sustainable farming and yield optimisation.
• Record and report farm activities and data.

Requirements:

• Qualification in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
• Experience in farm operations, irrigation, and crop management.
• Knowledge of pest and disease control methods.
• Ability to operate farm machinery and perform basic maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Valid drivers license (essential).
