We are looking for a passionate and professional team member to help manage the day-to-day operations and contribute their expertise to our thriving farm.

Key Responsibilities:

Your duties will encompass the full spectrum of modern dairy farm management, including:

• Herd Health and Management: Overseeing the well-being of our dairy cows, including implementing health protocols, administering treatments, and managing breeding programs.
• Milking Operations: Supervising and participating in daily milking procedures using advanced equipment, with a strong focus on hygiene and milk quality.
• Nutrition and Feed Management: Preparing and distributing feed according to nutritional plans to optimize herd health and milk production.
• Farm and Equipment Maintenance: Operating and maintaining a range of farm machinery, including tractors, milking plant, and irrigation systems.
• Pasture and Land Management: Managing grazing rotations and ensuring the upkeep and quality of pastures.
• Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all farm activities, including milk production, herd health, and breeding.
• Team Collaboration: Working closely with other farm staff to ensure smooth daily operations and providing guidance where needed.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on, full-time experience in a similar senior dairy farming role.
• A formal qualification in Agriculture or a related field is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in modern dairy farming techniques and a strong knowledge of livestock health.
• Strong practical skills in operating and maintaining agricultural machinery.
• Excellent communication skills and a good command of the English language.
• A solid understanding of health and safety standards in farm operations.
• The ability and willingness to relocate to New South Wales, Australia.
