RecruitUp is seeking a skilled and experienced Motorcycle Mechanic for a reputable client in the hinterland of Victoria, Australia. This role is perfect for a passionate mechanic with expertise in Japanese motorcycles (Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki) and Harley Davidson models.

About the Role:

Our client is a well-established motorcycle workshop specialising in repairs, maintenance, and performance tuning of Japanese and Harley Davidson motorcycles. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of motorcycles to ensure peak performance and rider safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults in Harley Davidson and Japanese motorcycles
Conduct engine overhauls, tuning, and component replacements
Perform brake system repairs, suspension tuning, and fuel system diagnostics
Use computerised diagnostic tools to identify performance issues and optimise efficiency
Modify and fabricate custom motorcycle components for performance and aesthetic enhancements
Conduct routine servicing, logbook maintenance, and roadworthy inspections
Ensure all work complies with Australian safety and mechanical standards

What Were Looking For:

Trade Certificate Motorcycle Mechanic (or equivalent qualification)
Proven experience working with Harley Davidson and Japanese motorcycles
Strong knowledge of motorcycle diagnostics, tuning, and electrical systems
Ability to fabricate, modify, and install custom components
Experience using diagnostic tools, tuning software, and workshop equipment
A passion for motorcycles and delivering high-quality mechanical work
