About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and reliable Earthmoving Plant Operator to join our growing operations team in Bibra Lake, Western Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy earthmoving machinery safely and efficiently across a range of civil, construction, recycling, and resource recovery projects.

This role requires a strong commitment to workplace safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate earthmoving machinery including excavators, loaders, bulldozers, graders, rollers, and skid steers
• Carry out excavation, loading, grading, trenching, and material handling activities
• Perform daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance of plant equipment
• Monitor machinery performance and report faults or maintenance requirements
• Follow site plans, specifications, and supervisor instructions
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Work collaboratively with site supervisors and other team members
• Adhere to company policies and operational procedures at all times

Skills and Experience Required

• Minimum 2 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery
• Relevant plant operator tickets and licences
• White Card (Construction Induction Card)
• Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently in various site conditions
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Strong understanding of workplace safety standards
• Ability to work flexible hours when required
• HR Driver's Licence (desirable but not essential)

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations or equivalent (preferred)
• Relevant machinery operating tickets/licences
