Role Overview

Successful candidates will be placed directly with our client employers and will be responsible for carrying out trade-level plumbing work across residential, commercial, and/or industrial environments. All roles are genuine, ongoing positions and require applicants to operate competently and independently at trade level.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Install, test, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment
  • Work on water supply, drainage, sewerage, stormwater, and gas systems (where licensed)
  • Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications
  • Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs and replacements
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown work
  • Install and maintain hot water systems and associated components
  • Ensure all plumbing work complies with Australian Standards, local codes, and regulations
  • Complete job cards, service reports, and compliance documentation accurately
  • Liaise with supervisors, clients, and other trades on site
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements

Mandatory Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of full-time, post-qualification work experience as a Plumber
  • Relevant plumbing trade qualification (or overseas equivalent suitable for skills assessment)
  • Proven ability to work independently and unsupervised at trade level
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated, verifiable employment history in the occupation

Licensing & Compliance

  • Ability to obtain the relevant state or territory plumbing licence
  • Gas fitting endorsement where applicable (highly regarded)
  • Valid drivers licence (preferred)
  • Willingness to meet all regulatory and licensing requirements necessary to perform the role in Australia
