Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Deployment Engineer with expertise in Mellanox technologies and network deployments. This role focuses on the design, implementation, and support of network solutions, ensuring optimal performance across client infrastructures. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Mellanox products, a strong grasp of networking concepts, and the ability to troubleshoot complex network environments. Bilingual Spanish/English skills are preferred but not required. Occasional travel to Mexico is necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, plan, and deploy network solutions using Mellanox hardware and technologies.
• Experience with Cumulus OS, OSPF, BGP, and campus WAN is a MUST.
• Configure, test, and support InfiniBand and Ethernet solutions, ensuring high performance.
• Work closely with clients to understand project needs and recommend tailored networking solutions.
• Perform on-site installations, configurations, and troubleshooting as required.
• Monitor and maintain deployed networks, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Provide technical training and knowledge transfer to client teams for ongoing support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, maintaining clear documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, support, project management) to streamline deployments.
• Travel occasionally to Mexico to support on-site deployments.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in network engineering or deployment, with a focus on Mellanox technologies.
• Hands-on experience with InfiniBand, Ethernet solutions, Mellanox hardware, and networking tools.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Mellanox OFED, SwitchX, Spectrum, and related technologies.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to Mexico for project-based assignments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with automation tools and scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.) for deployment efficiency.
• Familiarity with additional networking hardware and technologies (Cisco, Juniper, etc.).
• Relevant network engineering certifications (CCNA, CCNP, etc.) are a plus.
