Job Summary:

We are seeking a Director of Womens Services to lead and manage all aspects of obstetrical and neonatal care at our facility. This role is responsible for overseeing patient care delivery, compliance, staff management, budgeting, and quality control while integrating evidence-based practices into clinical protocols. The ideal candidate must be a licensed Registered Nurse (KY) with AWHONN certification and have strong leadership skills to foster an environment of professional growth and excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement departmental goals, plans, and standards in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Oversee department operations, including patient care, service levels, technology implementation, and complaint management.
  • Plan and manage staffing activities, including hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and continuing education.
  • Prepare, monitor, and evaluate departmental budgets to ensure compliance with financial allocations.
  • Coordinate and direct internal/external audits to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Act as a resource for staff regarding obstetrical and neonatal concerns.
  • Foster an environment that encourages professional growth and development.
  • Ensure the integration of evidence-based practices into daily operations and clinical protocols.

Required Qualifications:

Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Kentucky.
AWHONN Certification (Required).
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) Certification.
Associates Degree in Nursing (Bachelors Preferred).
Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and leadership skills.
