Gardener

Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated gardener to maintain and enhance the beauty of our clients' gardens and landscapes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for plants and gardening, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Role Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as watering, weeding, pruning, and fertilizing plants.
• Plan and design garden layouts, selecting appropriate plants and materials.
• Plant new flowers, shrubs, trees, and other landscape features.
• Monitor plant health and identify issues such as pests or diseases, taking appropriate measures to address them.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, ensuring safe and efficient use.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create and implement landscape projects.
• Keep detailed records of plant care, maintenance schedules, and inventory.
• Assist in seasonal preparations, including planting, mulching, and winterization.
• Provide guidance and education to clients or visitors regarding plant care and gardening best practices

Requirements

• Previous experience as a gardener or in a similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of plant species, horticulture, and landscape design.
• Ability to operate gardening tools and equipment safely.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Excellent attention to detail and a passion for horticulture.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
