General Maintenance Personnel

Description

The Maintenance Personnel is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on various equipment and facilities to ensure operational efficiency and safety. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying maintenance needs and executing tasks to uphold the facility's standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities.
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of supplies.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize disruption.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist in the installation and assembly of new equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Technical certification or trade school training preferred.
• Previous experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
