Recroo is on the lookout for a skilled Chef De Partie to join our clients kitchen, specializing in a la carte Mediterranean cuisine. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Mediterranean flavors, creativity in dish preparation, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a diverse range of Mediterranean dishes, ensuring each plate meets the restaurant's high standards for quality and presentation.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Chefs to develop and refine menu offerings, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative techniques.
  • Supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and training in Mediterranean
  • cooking methods and food safety practices.
  • Monitor ingredient inventory and assist in ordering to ensure the necessary stock levels are maintained. 
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, upholding health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Ensure consistent portion control and presentation of dishes for a cohesive dining
  • experience.
  • Participate in daily team meetings to discuss menu changes, operational needs, and special events.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment by fostering teamwork and communication within the kitchen staff.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar role within a Mediterranean cuisine setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Mediterranean culinary techniques and ingredients.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work
  • collaboratively in a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a high-pressure environment with attention to detail.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
