Description
We are seeking a talented Chef De Partie specializing in a la carte western cuisine to join our clients culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, creativity in menu development, and experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in accordance with the restaurant's standards.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and implement new menu items, including seasonal and special dishes.
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management, ensuring that all necessary ingredients are available.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Ensure consistent portion control and presentation of dishes to maintain restaurant quality standards.
- Assist in cost control measures, including minimizing waste and managing food costs effectively.
- Participate in daily briefings to discuss menu changes, special events, and operational needs.
- Contribute to team building and a positive kitchen culture by fostering communication and collaboration among staff.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of a la carte cooking techniques and Western cuisine.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
- Culinary degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
