We are seeking a talented Chef De Partie specializing in a la carte western cuisine to join our clients culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, creativity in menu development, and experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in accordance with the restaurant's standards.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and implement new menu items, including seasonal and special dishes.
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management, ensuring that all necessary ingredients are available.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure consistent portion control and presentation of dishes to maintain restaurant quality standards.
  • Assist in cost control measures, including minimizing waste and managing food costs effectively.
  • Participate in daily briefings to discuss menu changes, special events, and operational needs.
  • Contribute to team building and a positive kitchen culture by fostering communication and collaboration among staff.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of a la carte cooking techniques and Western cuisine.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
