Litigation Paralegal
RecLatam is hiring on behalf of a U.S.-based law firm and is currently seeking a highly analytical Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys with legal research, case law analysis, and litigation strategy.
This role is ideal for attorneys who enjoy legal research, writing, and analyzing complex legal issues. The client is looking for someone with strong litigation experience who can conduct in-depth legal research, identify relevant case law, and assist attorneys in building well-supported legal arguments.
The ideal candidate is an excellent writer, highly analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced remote environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting legal research using case law, statutes, regulations, and legal databases
- Drafting legal documents, research summaries, and motions
- Reviewing and analyzing case law to support litigation
- Assisting attorneys with legal arguments and case preparation
- Managing legal research projects and organizing supporting documentation
- Managing case files, litigation deadlines, and attorney workflows
- Working within Docketwise and other legal systems as needed
- Communicating with attorneys and legal teams to support ongoing litigation matters
What We're Looking For:
- Law Degree (required)
- 2+ years of Litigation experience.
- Strong litigation background with exceptional legal research skills
- Excellent legal writing and analytical abilities
- Experience drafting legal documents, motions, and legal analyses
- Experience using Docketwise (required)
- Must be bilingual English/Spanish
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented with outstanding critical-thinking skills
- Immigration litigation or EOIR experience is a plus
- Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred
