RecLatam is hiring on behalf of a U.S.-based law firm seeking an experienced Demand Letter Writer to support their personal injury team. This role is essential to the firm's settlement strategy and requires strong writing skills, attention to detail, and experience reviewing case documentation to prepare effective demand packages.
Responsibilities
- Draft demand letters for personal injury cases addressed to insurance companies
- Review case files, medical records, and supporting documentation to prepare settlement demands
- Prepare clear and well-supported settlement demand communications
- Ensure demand letters are completed accurately and within deadlines to facilitate case settlements
- Work within the Prevail case management system to access case information, documentation, and templates
- Collaborate with the legal team to ensure demands align with the firm's settlement strategy
Requirements
- Experience drafting demand letters in personal injury cases
- Strong knowledge of personal injury law
- Experience working with case management systems, preferably Prevail
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and writing skills

The firm manages a high volume of personal injury cases each year
Demand letters play a key role in advancing cases toward settlement
Efficient and well-prepared demand packages help accelerate negotiations with insurance companies

Work Environment
